Drucker for Future Leaders

Students at Camino Nuevo High School in Los Angeles working with their corporate mentor to design and implement a community service project

Drucker for Future Leaders provides middle and high school students with lifelong tools for effectiveness based on Peter Drucker’s Five Questions management framework.

The Five Questions are: What is my mission? Who is my customer? What does the customer value? What are my results? What is my plan?

With the help of adult mentors – volunteers from businesses, community groups and elsewhere – students have applied the Five Questions to a wide variety of activities. These include pursuing their academic goals, organizing a wide range of personal and group projects and preparing for career and job opportunities.

The centerpiece of the program is the Drucker for Future Leaders Curriculum, which unfolds in five parts and is designed to be implemented over the course of a semester as part of a broader classroom curriculum. Separate middle-school and high-school versions of the curriculum are available. Also available are a three-hour Drucker Service Learning Workshop and a three-hour Drucker Pathways to College Workshop.
