Creating Global Change

What is a Drucker Society?

Drucker Societies are at the forefront of a global movement to stimulate effective management and ethical leadership.

These all-volunteer organizations draw on Peter Drucker’s vast body of work for information and inspiration as they seek to effect positive change in their local communities.

By implementing a slate of programs, developed in conjunction with the Drucker Institute, the Drucker Society Network has become a living, breathing embodiment of Peter Drucker’s ideas and ideals.

Drucker Societies fulfill their mission to stimulate effective management and ethical leadership within their communities through:

  • Book clubs in which members discuss Drucker’s teachings and how to apply them to their companies and communities.
  • A Drucker-based training program for nonprofit organizations.
  • A program that teaches Drucker's management skills to high school students.
  • ‘The Responsibility Gap,’ a presentation on how organizations can help bridge the divide between our obligations and our actions.
  • A workshop on innovation for would-be entrepreneurs.
  • A workshop on effective leadership.

The Drucker Institute forms the Societies and serves them as a hub by supporting their efforts. For more information, contact Drucker Society Program Manager Lawrence Greenspun.
